On 10 June 2026, Äerd Lab participated in the EIT Community New European Bauhaus Festival in Brussels, where the project was honoured with the Audience Vote award. The recognition reflects the strong support received from festival visitors and the growing interest in sustainable solutions.

The event brought together innovators, entrepreneurs, designers, and changemakers from across Europe, creating an inspiring platform for collaboration and exchange around the values of the New European Bauhaus.

The occasion was made even more meaningful by returning the following day as an alumni participant at the NEB Catalyse Kick-Off. One year after taking part in the programme, Äerd Lab had the opportunity to share its development journey, reconnect with the community, and meet the new cohort of innovators working towards a more sustainable, inclusive, and beautiful future.
