We’re pleased to announce that Äerd Lab participated in the Smart City Expo World Congress 2024 in Barcelona, from November 5 to 7, as part of the Luxembourg Pavilion.

This global event gathered thousands of professionals focused on shaping the future of cities through smarter, greener, and more efficient urban solutions. At our stand, we presented how Äerd Lab is contributing to the transformation of construction by using 3D printing with raw clay—a method that supports low-carbon, locally sourced building materials.
Our approach offers practical alternatives to conventional construction, combining technology with respect for natural resources and regional identity.

A highlight of the event was the visit from Lex Delles, Luxembourg’s Minister of the Economy, who toured the national pavilion and met with companies including ours. His visit underscored the importance of sustainable business practices and the value of Luxembourg’s international presence in major urban development forums.

Being part of the Luxembourg delegation allowed us to share our work with an international audience, exchange knowledge with urban planners, architects, and public officials, and build connections that support our continued growth.
